Jack Wolff is an 11ish-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever owned by David and Cindy Wolff. Unlike standard yellow labs with black eyeliner, lips and nose, is called a Dudley lab because he lacks pigmentation on his nose, lips and eyeliner. Those features are typically black on a yellow lab. The lighter color makes his face softer. His previous owner surrendered him to the Collierville, Tenn. Animal Shelter when he was around a year old. He was adopted a few months later. |
He’s the Charlie Brown in a home of four dogs. The others take his ball, push him off his food and steal his spot on the bed. His favorite activities include all things ball: holding them in his mouth, tucking them between his paws, using his eyes to point out what piece of furniture one is under. Of course, he loves to play fetch. When he goes to bed, his owners tell him to get his “night-night.” Yep, as many balls as he can find. He also loves to sit on laps, proving once again “lap dog” is a state of mind.
