People moved out of their house and abandoned this boy. He was tied up in a shed, no food or water. My friend's daughter found him and brought him home.
She's had him for a couple of weeks. Apartment management served her papers that said she was violating the 35 pounds or less dog rule. What idiot decided 34-pound dogs are allowed.
She is a single mom who could never afford to rent a house. Her mom took him to vet today. He is heart worm positive.
Doesn't know if he's dog friendly or not
I told her these were strikes against him
1. Pit bull
2. Heartworm positive
3. Don't know if dog or cat aggressive
4. Amount of time it takes to find a pit bull a suitable home
She thought about taking him to the shelter. I talked her out of that. He has to leave. She can't lose her Apartment.
Unless there's a Miracle out there, I told her the best course of action is to euthanize him.
I will post this on rescue groups' website, but all of them are usually full to the gills.
If you or anyone you know want to test him with your dogs or foster him, I will let her know. You can send me a message here at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
